Vintage metal waste basket with Equestrian theme design. The metal trash can is a rich cranberry color with a decoupaged image of a print with man on a horse. It is an image of the early painting, The Winner, by Charles Wysocki as you can see the inscription in photo 5. Mr. Wysocki was an American painter who painted images of early America. He passed away in 2002. Many of his images were used on home decor items in his later years.
The image is reminiscent of an earlier period in America of a rider on a large black horse.
The waste basket can of course be used as a decorative trash can or even to hold magazines if desired.
