Small cherub vases. Two hand painted small cherub succulent vases. The little vases depict a cherub playing a lute sitting on a shell. The pair of vases are mid century produced by Lipper and Mann in the 50's.
They are so delicately painted in a soft pink and very light mint green with gold highlights. One of the vases does vintage wear. The little cherub's hand holding the stem of the lute has broken off. I actually did not notice it at first because the spot was smooth. Please see photos 5, 6 and 7 where I have tried to show the cherub's hand. I am pricing the set accordingly.
If you only want to purchase one of the vases please send a request.
Lipper and Mann was an importer of fine glass and ceramics. They began importing porcelain and other ceramics from Japan in 1949. I believe the vases are probably from the 1950's.
