Silver over Copper tray. The vintage oval silver plate tray has a raised relief grape pattern along the rim and a chased scroll pattern on the flat part of the tray. It is a handled tray and could be used with a tea set as well as a serving tray for entertaining.
The tray is silver over copper and there are a few tiny places where you can see the copper. Please see photo 4. The grape pattern and handles are a little darker and do not polish as brightly as the base of the tray. I actually like that because it gives definition and interest to the tray. I have priced the tray accordingly.
I love the shape and the design. I love the old grape relief pattern which was so popular during the late 1800's and early 1900's.
All silver will come polished ready to use.
