Silver Plate Pastry Server, Nobility Plate Pie Server, Caprice Pattern, Vintage 40's Dessert Server, Replacement Flatware

Silver plate pastry server. A Nobility plate pastry or pie server in the Caprice pattern. The pattern was introduced in 1937 and features a late Art deco design with geometric curves and lines. I love the blade on this piece with the graduated pierced trapezoid and arrow shapes. I think the piece is probably from the early 40's.
This is a large pastry server measuring 10 7/8 inches. It is in nice vintage condition especially for the age with no loss of silver. The blade does have a few tiny nicks on one side. Please look at photo 3. They do not however detract from the charm and functionality of the piece.
