Silver serving spoons. Two small vintage silver plate serving spoons. One spoon is a small sugar shell by Meriden Silver Company. The pattern is First Lady and it was introduced in 1960. The second spoons appears to be a small cream ladle, but could be a cream soup spoon. It does have a slightly arched handle which lends itself to a small ladle. The maker is Community Silver and the pattern is Sheraton and was introduced in 1910. Oneida is actually Community Silver. In 1899 Oneida began producing silver plate flatware using the hallmark Community Plate.
This small spoon is quite lovely. It does have a W monogram.
The two spoons are being sold together. Both are in nice vintage condition with little wear commensurate with age and use.
I actually love small serving spoons to put with either jams or tea mixes and give as gifts. They make nice little hostess gifts as well as teacher gifts.
