Nippon vase. Antique Nippon vase with heavy gold overlay. The vase has the backstamp featuring the Maple Leaf with Nippon below the leaf and the words Hand Painted. The stamp dates the small vase in late 1800's to early 1900's. The small footed vase has a beautifully painted floral design in a deep hunter green with pink flowers and gold overlay, There are two handles and one has been repaired. Please see the photos. The small jar may have had a lid or top at one time.
