A very nice pair of brass spread eagle bookends. The bookends have a detailed image of the eagle with wings spread and a shield. On the back of each eagle is the maker's mark and stamp Spread Eagle Copyright 1952, Va. Metal Crafters. 8-9
The bookends are very heavy and may be an iron with brass overlay. They are very well made and would make a wonderful gift for someone who loves history or Americana related items.
