A beautiful vintage Imari porcelain planter. The planter was made in Japan and has a maker's mark . The piece is hand painted with the traditional Imari cinnabar red, cobalt blue and gold. The piece has a bird medallion on two sides which is alternated between a blue and white design.
It is a lovely piece if you collect Chinoiserie or Imari porcelain. It would be a wonderful Mother's Day gift with a plant for a Mother or Grandmother who collects Imari.
