A vintage original miniature still life painting with brass easel The artist is deceased Alabama artist Peti Clements. Peti was known for Southern folk Black Americana paintings. She also painted still life paintings. She was also known for her little miniature paintings. I actually met Peti back in late 1978.
This particular painting is signed by her on the front and also on the back with the title and date.
The date is 1998. She actually passed away in 1999.
