Vintage Silver Plate Serving Tray, 20 Inch Butler's Tray, Silver Barware Tray, Rope Braiding Scroll Design,Rectangle Handled Decorative Tray

A lovely rectangle silver plate tray. The tray has heavy scrolled handles and a nice heavy chased scroll design in the middle with a rope braiding. It measures 20 inches from handle to handle and the serving part of the tray measures 16 inches. It is a flat tray, not footed.
The maker's mark is Art S Co. with the additional markings of S.P.C. which I think indicates it is silver over copper. I have not been able to find information on the company but did find a couple or early silver makers beginning with A, one being American Silver Company which was in operation from 1901 - 1935 and the other being Art Silver Shop which was in operation from 1912 - 1930. I think it could be the later.
It is a very nice tray and the silver is in good condition with only minor scuffs commensurate with age and use.
It is a nice size for a carafe and glasses as pictured in photo 2. The center of the tray would be monogrammed if desired.
