A lovely English ironstone soup bowl or soup plate. The bowl has a blue crown with the words Real Ironstone China. One bowl has the impressed Real Ironstone China mark with a blue crown.
The mark is for the Ashworth company in the mid 1800's. It is a blue and white chinoiserie pattern with a butterfly. The bowl is scalloped with a polychrome colors of blue, rust, green. The bowl may also be called a soup plate.
All of the bowls are in very good condition for the age. There are no chips or cracks. There may be some slight discoloration around the rim of some of the bowls, but it does not flow over to the top.
