Vintage Handmade Pinwheel Quilt, Southern Quilt, Black Indigo Blue Tan Burgundy Colors, Quilt Wall Decor, 64 x 84 Inches, Country Primitive

A very nice vintage Southern pinwheel quilt. The quilt has the rich colors of indigo blue, cream, brown, and burgundy. It is a light batting which would make it a great quilt for a wall hanging or to even use as a table covering for the fall. It appears to be hand stitched but also may have some machine stitching. With the colors and the backing of the piece I think it is probably late 30's or 40's. It is an estate find.
There is some wear in the quilt. The back is in great condition, but some of the triangles of black and brown have some wear. I have noticed in other quilts that the black and tan or brown pieces usually have wear before the other colors. There is also a little stain, but with the color of the fabric it is hard to see.
