Large Oval Silver Footed Butler's Tray, Wallace Silver Plate over Brass 30 Inch Tray, Footed Wedding Cake Tray, Vintage Barware Tray

A exceptionally large oval silver plate serving tray. The tray was produced by Wallace silver company and is a silver plate over brass. The tray is from the mid 60's. It is a very heavy tray with cabriole feet and a scroll design handles. It is silver over brass and some of the silver has worn off in the center and some scratches but that is commensurate with a tray this size with age and use. I am sure it at one time had a silver service set with it.

The tray measures 30 inches from handle to handle. The actual interior size is approximately 23 inches. It is a great tray for serving hors d'oeuvres, a wedding cake, or cocktails. In photo 3 I have it shown with 13 crystal ice tea goblets.

The tray does have the maker's mark, Wallace on the back.
