A wonderful pair of iron candle wall sconces. The French style sconces are from the Hollywood Regency period.
They are a heavy iron that has been painted with a gold toned paint. Over the years the paint has darkened and has an antique gold color. They are in great condition.
On photo 5 you can see a small bar across the back of the sconce which is used to hold the sconce onto the wall.
The sconces would be a great accent for a French county, shabby cottage chic decor.
