A great neoclassical style bust or statue. The vintage bust appears to be a metal type mold with a chalkware covering. When you tap on the piece it sounds like metal. It has a gold leaf with black paint and a felt bottom to protect a table. The bust is in very good condition with no chips or broken pieces. There does appear to be one small spot that may have been nicked at some time but is the same color as the base. I have tried to picture it in photo 6.
The base of the statue is a black with gold swags on all four sides. This is very nice piece and would make a nice accent piece for a chest or to use as a paper weight on a desk if desired.
