Antique cast iron fireplace cover. The cover has a French style design with a wreath and scrolls of leaves. It is cast iron and very heavy. It is a great piece in good condition with no holes. It would be a fabulous piece as a wall decor because of the smaller size. It would look great in so many different home decor settings. I have seen these fireplace covers mounted on a wall but you do have to have some clips and bolts.
There is a little rust patina but it does not damage the piece, it only enhances the beauty I think.
