Frank M Whiting Sterling Glass Cigarette Holder, Sterling Glass Toothpick Holder, Mid Century Whiting Sterling , Vanity Q-Tip Holder

A wonderful mid century Frank M Whiting sterling silver and glass toothpick holder, cigarette holder. I have two of these, both are in wonderful condition. Both of the containers have the maker's mark Frank M. Whiting Sterling Patent Pending.
The item was probably used as a cigarette holder in the 1940's or 50's, but it would make a great cocktail toothpick holder for a party. I also think it would be a nice decorative accessory item for a vanity to hold q-tips.
